Brief

The Brain Revolution is a campaign concept to raise awareness of the gender imbalance of Alzheimer's disease. 
The first design iteration of this project won a 2021 Bronze Indigo Award in Design for Social Change.

My approach

Did you know women are twice as likely to get Alzheimer’s than men? I create The Brain Revolution as an integrated campaign to raise awareness of this gender imbalance and empower women to fight their odds. The campaign targets women aged 20-40, the period defined as the ‘window of opportunity’ to prevent or delay Dementia symptoms. The design evokes empowerment and rebellion, using illustration and a punchy look and feel to create a fresh approach to a tired and serious subject matter. Contrasting colours reflect the essence of the campaign; A disruptive, confident approach to an important topic.  The copywriting and illustration aims to educate and evoke a drive to create noise around the topic, making this feel important for the audience today.
